AR overlays critical pre-operative information—such as computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data, showing the location of tumors or critical vessels—directly onto the real-time surgical feed. This "GPS for surgery" will guide the surgeon with millimeter precision, minimizing the risk of error and enabling even more complex, minimally invasive procedures to be performed routinely and safely.
